Here at HIBS100 we’ve long been fans of Mike Ahern’s polished website Brit Decor, with its cunning mix of restraint and luxury. This recipe for Midas touch chocolates exemplifies Mike’s approach – it’s simple, delicious and we are not even going to try to resist it. Bet you won’t either. Enjoy.
“I picked up some chocolate moulds, two 200g bars of Belgian dark chocolate and one bar of white to create a marbled effect, plus a single Crunchie bar. I also ordered some edible gold leaf sheets online, and was ready to go into meltdown (in the chocolatey sense). Once cooled, I removed the chocs from the mould and carefully placed the gold leaf to complete the look.”
