Thanks to all of you who’ve already linked up this month, we’ve been browsing all your lovely ideas and getting lots of brilliant inspiration.
Today’s post is all about the home and interiors side of things. I’m sorely in need of a magic wand myself at the moment, to wave over my own sitting room. I can’t quite put my finger on the problem, but it’s looking tired. Nothing that couldn’t be sorted by lashing out ££££ on a new sofa and curtains, no doubt, but are there any less pricey ways of injecting a bit of new life? Next to catch my eye was a post from Anne Marie of Very Me Interiors who’s just taken a radical step with her patio. After an accident with a paint pot showed her just how well paint sticks to patio slabs (!) she decided to take the plunge and revamp the lot on purpose – adding a sprinkle of ordinary craft glitter to the mix. The result is this stylish and rather sophisticated look:
Wow! Looks fabulous and the glitter should catch the summer sun nicely. What a great outdoor family space.
