The HIBS100 team has diverse backgrounds and comes from all over the UK but we have one thing in common. We’re all passionate (possibly, a bit TOO passionate) about blogging and social media. Every member of our team is an active blogger, and spends more time than we’d care to admit on Facebook and Twitter. Want to get in touch? Here are all our details:
Founder and Editor, Sally Whittle
Sally spent 12 years working as a freelance technology journalist for newspapers and magazines in the UK and US before founding the Tots100, followed by the MAD Blog Awards, Foodies100 and HIBS100. She writes her own parenting blog at Who’s the Mummy, which was ranked the UK’s #1 Mummy blog in 2010, 2012 and 2013. Sally continues to write occasional articles about technology and innovation for the Guardian newspaper, but devotes most of her time to running Flea Enterprises Ltd, which publishes the HIBS100. You can contact Sally by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or on Twitter as @swhittle
Editor-at-large, Alice Cullerne Bown
Alice Cullerne Bown is a blogger, author, journalist and fanatical cushion-plumper. She spent much of her childhood creating room sets in shoe boxes and now attempts to style her real-life home, despite the best efforts of her husband, two children, two stepchildren and two cats. She is addicted to home makeover shows and likes to Hoover while watching Obsessive Compulsive Cleaners. She blogs at DD’s Diary, www.dulwichdivorcee.com, and you can catch her on Twitter at @DDsDiary.
Commercial Manager, Laura Hitchcock
Laura is responsible for helping develop innovative blog outreach campaigns for HIBS100, Tots100 and MAD Blog Awards. A 70s child, she was married a Very Long Time ago, and appears to have made four children and collected one large and useless dog along the way. As a working Mum of four with a dog, Laura does not dust. Ever. She began blogging back in 2004, and writes a blog about pretty things over at LittleStuff. You can contact Laura on email@example.com
